This is the story me and Amelie wrote but we can only write on sentence at a time.

The door swung open revealing a huge Santa With a very tight bathing suit on and very stylish sunglasses. He was very sweaty and smelled like rotten eggs,then Santa spinned around and his sweat got everywhere so Ms Claus had to chase him around the house But then Santa ran out of the house screaming, Miss Claus couldn't catch him so she called the police because Santa looked very crazy just running around with his hands up! At the end the police took him to a place that teaches him how to clean himself and not smell like farts.

sew free face masks

WALT: make a sew free mask.

How to make:

get a piece of fabric or an old t-shirt cut it into a rectangle the fold both sides in long ways then fold the hole thing in half. Put 2 hair ties on the end of the fabric the fold in the rest and pull the hair ties then done.

I really liked making this and I think they turned out really good.

The lambs

Today Mr gray brought in two of  his lambs called Tilly and Timmy.

It started off as a normal day,I was waiting to be fed but then these big hands grabbed me and put me in a truck. It was really scary but the car finally stopped. I hopped out of the car and walked into this huge building.

After a bit two  girls walked me outside and it was really fun. It's like they showed me around the place. Then they swapped and two boys came but I started to get tired.

 

school trip

Have you ever been to the museum?

I have. On the 5 of november room 3 and 2 went on a trip.

First we had to get on the bus and sit next to our buddy.

Then room 3 got dropped off at Margaret Mahy. We ate some food then went to play for 10 minutes.

I went under the big slide because it was as hot as an oven.

After that we walked to the Tauranga library And went to the imagination station

and got to play with Lego. There was also this big green thing with a slide at the

top and under it there was a space that you could just relax and read a book.

After that we walked to the museum. We stopped in the garden  to eat our lunch, then we played for a bit and went inside  the museum. We put our bags away Then we looked around the museum for a bit after a few minutes lady called Marissa came  who taught us a new game that you can play in the sand or in the dirt then we all got a bag full of different materials and we had to create our own game then we swapped with another team and tried their game.

 I would love to do it again if it wasn't as hot.

School Holidays

 Have you ever taken your dog to the beach? 

On Monday my sisters my nana and our dog simba went to the beach but before we left me  and my sister got our stuff ready like our towels and our togs.Then we got our boogie boards and put them in the car and drove to the beach.

When we got to the beach me and tahliah got our boogie boards and went in the water.The water was freezing cold but we still went in and after a bit the water got warmer.Then i got out and covered my legs in sand.

Then I went and played with simba and we took him in the water but he doesnt like it that much so we walked him on the sand and he saw some other dogs that he wanted to play with but he couldn't because he can get to aggressive.

I love going to the beach because it's really fun and sometimes we get to meet animals like dogs and seagulls.

Today room 3 went out to the domain  and we did some cricket things my favourite part was when we got to jump on the  mini  bouncey castle and try to catch the ball.

The spider monkeys had 15 trees in their section. The woolly monkeys had 7 trees. How many trees was this altogether?

My Problem Solving Reflection

WALT: work with others to solve problems in a respectful way.
I had trouble focusing because we kept talking and screaming but after a bit we got on to the question.Maybe next time i could work with other people that makes it easier.

camp writing

A few weeks ago the year 5/6 went camping this is my writing about it.

A couple of weeks ago the year 5/6  went camping at living springs.

First we had to walk up this big hill that was so hard then we got to go swimming.for dinner on the first night we had butter chicken.

My favourite things we did is the monorail , swimming and the food.

Thanks to all of the parents that came and to miss pownell and mr Gray.

I like going camping because we do fun things like the monorail and swimming.

Living Springs Camp

Last week the year 5/6 went on camp to living springs it was really fun because we did lots of fun things like setting up are tents , swimming and lots more.
The funest thing I did was the monaril I didnt think it would be scary but then when I got to the turns I felt like i was gonna fall of.

Waitangi Day

Yesterday was Waitangi day so we got a day off school.When I woke up I thought there was school but then I realised that it was Waitangi day and most of the day i was playing with my sisters on the trampoline then I went to pakn´save to get dog food.
I like getting days of school because I don´t have to do work and I can play with my sisters.
