sand dunes

we are learning about sand dunes and how to look after them like God has said.We made our own mini sand dunes and it was boiling hot .Then we ate and talked about the flowers,grass and plants on the sand dunes😥.We can care about the sand dunes by not picking off the plants,walking around them and not on them.
I liked doing this because i didn't know about sand dunes and how special they are.I also liked learning that the sand comes from mountains when it rains on the mountains it makes sand.

best day ever

W.A.L.T  write a recount.I writ about my best day ever and the goal I set myself is to add more detail to my writing.In my writing I forgot to add detail words but after I read over it I added more detail.My next step is to read over my writing and add punctuation and describe what happened more.
I like recounts because you write about something that has already happened.

Best Day Ever

I saw the water splash right uo to the sand.

I saw the sand castles getting wiped away with the foamy fast waves.

I heard the kids screaming.

I heard the dogs barking. 

I felt wet as the water slid down my back.

I felt the sand spread like butter over my feet.

I wonder why the waves came right up?

STEM

Today room 4 and room 2 did another stem challenge. Today we had to make something that floats.
We had to get the things we need from the domain and my group got sticks then miss Holland gave us all 2 long pieces of string , 3 pip cleaners and 2 rubber bands. We made our boat and we then went into a circle with all of the other groups.In the middle of the circle there was a big bucket of water we took turns to test our boats. my groups boat floated.Next time i think i could help my group better .I really enjoyed doing this because we got to get our things out of the domain.

We used screen castify  to record it but it it made me frustrated because their was so much noise in the background.
