narrative writing

W.A.L.T  write a narrative, to do the you need to;put a tittle , introduce the character, describe the setting,explain the problem , write a solution and end the story.

My favourite part of this writing was describing the setting because there were so many ideas i had like spiders everywhere, smashed windows, broken doors , ripped mattress, broken chairs and rust on the sink tap.

I find hard having to think about different ways/words to start my sentences.

My next step is adding punctuation in my writing I will do this by reading over my writing.

The Mirror                                     

Once upon a time there was a cottage.Inside this cottage was one little girl that always got into trouble.Her parents left her at the cottge and they said that they will be going to the supermarket to get some stuff for dinner but they never came back.The little girl was all alone at the little cottage.Then in the morning she checked again and she found her dad but not her mum she checked outside she yelled mum  but no one answered then she saw something moving in the bushes but it was just a hedgehog.She kept checking then they saw a mirror in the middle of the forest the little girl put her arm through the mirror and pulled out her mum she kissed and hugged and they all went back to the cottage and they explained what happend then they all lived happily ever after.

baptism

In the past couple of days my class started learning about baptism.We learnt that baptism is the first sacrament and we learnt about the symbols  these are the symbols we need for baptism.What do you know about baptism and have you been baptised?

Magnificent museum

Yesterday room 1  and room 4 went to the botanic gardens museum. We saw lots of animals and a lot of birds when we walked into the bird room above us there were birds hanging on a piece string  there were 2 mummy's.

I learnt that poler bears have black skin but we cant see the black because the white fur covers it.
I liked learning that because i didn't know that their skin is black.

It was a very big museum and a very fun museum i wish we could go there every day but we cant.

Slime💖

We are learning to write persuasive arguments we made a advertisement about a toy and i picked slime because it is super fun to make and play with.

You can make your slimes lots of colors and if you would like you could add charms and glitter to make it pretty. It was hard making the video because people kept walking past and talking so i had to try over and over again. I enjoyed making the video when it worked.
What do you know about slime and how do you make slimes?

Magnificent money

We have been learning to describe a character. To do this we say what your character does, its likes and dislikes, we also say what it looks like.

I enjoyed adding fun words that make my story more descriptive like a grey old, mustache that hang below his nose.

Starting my sentences with different words was challenging because it was hard thinking of words.

I like the way I added descriptive words.

Statistics

Statistics is finding infomation and gathering in into a bargraph, pictograph and tally chart in my class i learned to make bargraph And sharing your information.
A pictograph is when you write your options down then ask people want there favourite one is out of your options every time someone votes on your work you get to draw the option they picked next to the option that you write on the sides and the one that gets the most votes is the most popular.
I enjoyed learning about statistics because we now know what people like the most.
I found drawing the pictures challenging because it was hard to draw the shops.
