In room 2 we are writing haiku's about the autumn leaves. This is the poem I wrote.

On Monday 10th of May the senior syndicate went to the red zone.There were 4 different activities like eating rice out of our hands and having to build shelters for ourself.My favourite activity was shelter building because we had to use sticks and dirt to hold up our shelter.
The teacher that was running the shelter building was Mr Gray. We had to use big long pieces of material and string to tie material on trees and dig holes.
We went on this walk and pretended to be refugees.We did this because there are heaps of families where their houses are bombed or there country is at war.

We made limerick poems, we also learned that every limerick poem has the first and second sentences rhyme with the last sentence.
This is the limerick poem I wrote.
There once was a boy named Bob.
He wanted to make a door knob.
He fell into a very small well.
He hit his head on a big fat bell.
he ate a blob of corn on the cob.
